Traveling Seminar Visits Wingsprings
Traveling Seminar Visits Wingsprings
The “Lakota Lands and Identities” traveling seminar celebrated its fifth and final day, anpetu zaptan, with a celebratory cookout at Wingsprings. Participants were treated to a tour of the facilities and grounds, which include the CAIRNS offices and a 64-acre nature preserve. Burgers and brats were prepared by Wingsprings Premier Chef Corey, and everyone gathered for one more group photo before boarding the bus back to Rapid City for the final time. Thanks to all who made this five-day journey a success!
Photos from Wingsprings and other stops along the traveling seminar’s route can be viewed on the Albums page.
