One aspiration of our mission statement is to serve as a meeting ground for peoples and ideas that support tribal perspectives. With that goal in mind, the CAIRNS offices are located at Wingpsrings, a unique architectural facility and nature sanctuary situated in a rural area of the Lacreek District of Pine Ridge Reservation. Our founders, board of directors and employees, along with interns, volunteers, Fellows, researchers and visitors have gathered here to share, learn, work and laugh.  Wingsprings is the home of CAIRNS, and the destinies of these two entities are closely intertwined. The growth and productivity of CAIRNS parallels the design and development of Wingsprings.
