Our most recent Lakota Educational Art Project exhibition, Navigating Narratives: The Corps of Discovery in Titonwan Territory, closed today at The Brinton Museum in Big Horn, Wyoming. It was on display since February 8, 2024. Creatives from across South Dakota produced artworks, wrote poems, and composed songs that are tied to the eight days in September, 1804, when the Corps of Discovery traversed Lakotan country in their three boats on the Missouri River.
